Can anyone recommend a hotel in Barcelona Spain that has wheelchair accessible rooms?

I have not been to Barcelona before, but I am booked for Hotel Barcelona Catedral in Nov based on research on Trip Advisor and on Spain forum of CC. English in Spain on CC has info for disabled in Barcelona (look at Spain forum in CC).

I am a paraplegic. We recently stayed at Le Méridien Barcelona. It does have accessible rooms with roll-in showers. A couple of quirks, however. The beds are very very low. If you need one higher, just ask, they have blocks to raise them. There is a lift at the entrance, but it is easier to simply enter and exit through the restaurant. We enjoyed our stay there and had no problems at all with the hotel. The elevators are also very very small. Right on La Ramla in the heart of the city.

The US based and/or large international chains are usually the best place to start. Hilton, Marriott, Four Seasons, Fairmont, Le Meridian, interContinental, etc.
