acctgtogo Posted August 5, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 5, 2013 I understand that the mini-bus from St George to Fort Catherine is $4. Do they take US$'s or do we need to get Bermuda money to pay? Thanks,.
Langoustine Posted August 5, 2013 #2 Share Posted August 5, 2013 Do they take US$'s or do we need to get Bermuda money to pay? The Bermudian dollar is on par with the U.S. dollar, and the two currencies are used interchangeably.

I understand that US $'s are not taken on the ferries or buses - exact change only (Bermuda money) if not using a token or pass, so I wasn't sure about the mini-buses. SailBadtheSinner Posted August 5, 2013 #4 Share Posted August 5, 2013 Thanks. Bus and ferry cash fares are exact change only. It can be Bermuda or US, so long as it is exact change. The mini bus to Fort St Catherine is not part of the Bermuda public transportation system; it is an independent service. Dollar bills would be acceptable.
