woodsy64 Posted August 5, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 5, 2013 This will be my first cruise during the summer. Is it too warm to enjoy the ports (Key West and Cozumel) or are they pretty much the same year round?
Lovefuninthesun Posted August 5, 2013 #2 Share Posted August 5, 2013 Have been to Key West in the summer -- warm, yes, but the humidity is what will get you! Just hydrate and enjoy!
pungo3 Posted August 5, 2013 #3 Share Posted August 5, 2013 Key West will be very warm and humid. You'll need to drink lots of water to make up for all the sweating. Cozumel will be warm, but you won't feel it as much. Regardless, have a fabulous cruise.
Love PalmTrees Posted August 6, 2013 #4 Share Posted August 6, 2013 We have never been to Key West, but we have been to Cozumel a number of times in the summer, end of July time frame, and in October twice. It is hot and humid but not much different between July and October. It is great weather for beach and water. Don't forget the cerveza and the most awesome guacamole at Fat Tuesday's at the pier. Sitting there next to the water, the breeze and temp is just perfect in my opinion. Enjoy your cruise!!
MrPete Posted August 6, 2013 #5 Share Posted August 6, 2013 Only suggestion is to stay near the coast and water.
firefly333 Posted August 6, 2013 #6 Share Posted August 6, 2013 I live in Dallas TX so maybe thats why after all the posts about how hot it would be, I thought it was a welcome relief. We did Cozumel, Jamaica and Caymans. It was really nice with a breeze. We had rain the day we boarded and was really really nice temps.
