christa Posted August 8, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 8, 2013 Anyone bought a spa pass for the week? If so, how did it work? Did you get an arm band or key? Do you remember the hours the spa was open?

Tantra1 Posted August 8, 2013 #3 Share Posted August 8, 2013 Anyone bought a spa pass for the week? If so, how did it work? Did you get an arm band or key? Do you remember the hours the spa was open? Yes, it was worth the expense for us. We used it every day. We got a daily wrist band (different color each day) since ours pass was an additional purchase instead of a Spa Cabin. Don't remember the hours but probably close to 8AM to 10PM. Cheers!
rlkubi Posted August 8, 2013 #4 Share Posted August 8, 2013 On our Magic transatlantic the price kept coming down so we had $1200 OBC and we upgraded to Spa deck. It was wonderful!
CruisinSinceIwasBorn Posted August 8, 2013 #5 Share Posted August 8, 2013 Make sure you check the prices. For us, it was $200 to upgrade our cabin to a spa cabin, and considering the pass is $250 for a couple, we actually saved $50 by upgrading. We went from deck 7 to deck 11 by updgrading, which is the best deck in my opinion.
christa Posted August 9, 2013 Author #6 Share Posted August 9, 2013 Thanks for all the great info! Rockbock- your detailed review of cloud 9 spa and cabins WITH VIDEOS was awesome! Thanks so much. We are currently booked in a cove balcony and have never had a cove so wanted to try it out. However, as Cruisesinceiwasborn pointed out, we may want to consider upgrading to save money- which seems weird. I am going to check the prices today. Another advantage to upgrading is that we would be closer to Camp Carnival- which is a HUGE plus for parents who need a little spa relaxation! Thanks again for all the information and advice- and happy Friday!
partyonaharleyx2 Posted August 9, 2013 #7 Share Posted August 9, 2013 We purchased the spa package on the Magic last year at $99.00 each. I think it was worth it but the only downside I saw was that the heated loungers were always full and we could never utilize them. Still worth the money though to use the steam rooms.
