Can anyone comment on the best place to visit outside of Toulon?

We had a lovely trip to Cassis and took a boat ride round the Calanques :)

Did you by chance go from Toulon to Cassis? We are trying to find the most reliable answer on how to get from the Cassis train station into Cassis Center and then back to the train station in the afternoon.

We were actually looking to go out of Toulon to another place near by but aren't sure where. Looking for people who know the area and best things to see. Low key relaxing places. :cool:

This port is a hard one...people have posted about it and that is why I said it would be good to do a search as they have mentioned a few places,but it is not like some of the other ports. You should do a Google search as well as it may give you some ideas as well.The ships pay a samller port fee here and it makes it attractive for them,but not really for the pax unles they rent a car and really get out and about.
