I have just read elsewhere that MSC have cancelled their Red Sea cruises this winter and relocated the ship to the Canaries. They quote unrest in Egypt

such a shame for the people of that country.....all that tourist infrastructure on red sea coasts only just recovering from the last political change.....but (at the end of the day) people just wont want to go there this winter....I can see thoms curtailing their red sea operations too.......but where would they switch too? its just too cold in western med in winter........shame they couldnt just hang a left to dubai/persian gulf instead?? I'm guessing logistics would preclude that for this year tho?
