Snorkelling

We like Sapphire too, most people never experience the East End of St Thomas and visit only Magens Bay or Trunk Bay on St John.

Having said that, we have not taken the cat to St John but it is very popular if you are interested in touring the beautiful coast of STJ then going into Cruz Bay to shop, take an island tour or have a quick beach break.

But as Mitsugirly said Sapphire offers great snorkeling off the beach on St Thomas. The beaches of St John are also gorgeous and famous. There is a snorkel trail at Trunk but it is not great, and there are snorkel spots at Maho and Francis on STJ but these beaches are less protected. The best snorkeling is in the cays off STJ from a daysail excursion like New Horizon or Yacht Nightwind out of Sapphire Marina.

You will find several threads on the champagne cat by searching with that key phrase and you can review others reports.
