Condition of the Pride

Checked with Seabourn and "Champagne & Caviar in the surf" is definitely on the agenda for the Sojourn. Also Sojourn won the coin toss some we finally committed to a cruise. Since we live in Florida, we can park at the port so I can bring back several bottles of those amazing Rums that are difficult to find in North Florida. Additionally we have refrained from buying other objects that won't fit in our luggage. This is an opportunity to buy whatever we want. Aruba will have to wait until next year, except we are taking the Quest on the Med. next Fall. Oh, well, hopefully we will make it some day.

Just boarded the Pride today and she is looking very good for an old lady. There are a few signs of wear such as the old carpeting on the stairs, some walls that need refreshing, etc., but she still looks pretty good, the crew is still happy, and it is still an exceptional experience. My advice is to sail on her one more time before the opportunity is gone.
