Two Scuba Divers, Two Snorkelers

How deep are most of the Scuba Dives on Grand Cayman? Are they suitable for snorkelers as well? I was looking at the Sunset House website - has anyone used them? I was thinking our two snorkelers might just want to hang out at the Sunset House pool while two of us dive - is that a reasonable option? Thanks!

Sunset House would be an very good choice for you. The two divers can be followed by the snorkelers very easily. And/or they can just hang at the bar . . .

I've been diving here since the mid 80's, last visit was for a week in March. Your depth profile for a shore dive can be anywhere in the 30 to 60 foot range. You CAN go deeper by swimming out to the wall but I have never found it necessary - there's plenty to see in the 30 to 60 range . .

search this forum for Sunset House and you'll find plenty of discussion . . . and the Cayman Islands forum too.
