shamrockace Posted August 23, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2013 We are cruising on Star Princess in October. We want to attend a Luau but with the port times, it looks like our only opportunity will be in Honolulu unless someone knows of a Luau earlier on either Maui or Kauai? Is the Hilton the only one that has a Luau on Waikiki on a Sunday?

Is the Hilton the only one that has a Luau on Waikiki on a Sunday? No, there is a highly rated luau that a group of us on the Star Princess Roll Call are trying to find more people for. Are you sailing Oct. 21st? If so, the more people interested, the better deal we can get. Check out Chief's Luau on line. There are different tiers of pricing and offer more than the basic hotel "pack 'em in" luau. Sherry

San Carlos lady Posted October 3, 2013 #7 Share Posted October 3, 2013 Someone said Princess will have a Hawaiian floor show while in Honolulu? Maybe after dinner?
Cruisin' Chick Posted October 3, 2013 #8 Share Posted October 3, 2013 Someone said Princess will have a Hawaiian floor show while in Honolulu? Maybe after dinner? There is a troupe of hula dancers from a local school that always perform on the Hawaiian cruises. Usually there's one or two shows in the evening while still in port and then they leave the ship before sailing. Last December we were on the holiday sailing on the Golden and the order of the ports changed so that we wouldn't be in Honolulu on Christmas Day. Unfortunately that meant we weren't in Honolulu til 10ish so the troupe came on and did an afternoon show instead.
We Go Cruise Brah Posted October 3, 2013 #9 Share Posted October 3, 2013 Has anyone here been to the Hale Koa Luau? I have not been to their luau, but I have eaten many brunches there. Their food is slightly above average.
