What time to get to Boatyard?

What time do people generally start arriving at the Boatyard for the day? Do most people wait til around lunchtime, or is it better to get there early, to get a good spot? What time do they open?

opens at 9 and the free shuttle back starts at 1. I think we might do the mount gay or chocolate tour first.

We took a taxi over about 11 AM. No problem finding beach chairs. It makes for a good beach day when you don't want to go out on a catamaran. :)

Arrived around 9:30. Plenty of chairs available. Arranged to swim with the turtles with Neville(yellow boat). Lunch was very good. Shuttle back to cruise ship starts at 1. Run every half hour. Enjoy.

Did you wait til you got there to arrange with Neville? Where did you find him? Also, did you notice if there are lockers available? Thanks!

I saw no lockers there. We took our valuables with us on the boat. Left some stuff on the chairs. It was fine. A man approached us on the beach and asked if we wanted to swim with the turtles. He said he worked with Neville. $20 each. It was well worth it. We swam with the turtles than went to a sunken ship nearby to snorkel. Trip lasted about an hour. $12 each to get into the Boatyard. Included chairs, umbrella, a free drink and transportation back to cruise ship. All of us had a great time.
