amberline Posted August 25, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 25, 2013 Hi, I will be cruising on Boudicca next July and wondered if anyone can advise me on the cost of wifi on board, Thanks
dancourt Posted August 27, 2013 #2 Share Posted August 27, 2013 My husband seems to think he paid £5 for 20 mins (but can't be sure) and that was last year. All I can say, it wasn't cheap. Maybe you can ring FO head office maybe they will know. I have heard people say just follow the crew when the ship docks because they find free wifi. Mark_T Posted August 28, 2013 #4 Share Posted August 28, 2013 Do take care if using a 3G equipped device, like your mobile phone or some tablets, that you do not accidentally use the 'Maritime' phone service while at sea for data, instead of the ships own wifi service. Just get into the habit of turning of 3G data services to avoid this. The ships wifi seems expensive enough, the Maritime 3G service will make you realize just how cheap the ships wifi was in comparison :)
