happidaze Posted August 26, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 26, 2013 At the moment if you book a certain cruise in the offer, you can have a wine package or unlimited soda. We have a 2 week cruise on hold as I type The wine package however limits you to 5 bottles. This offer however is only allowed against one guest, so in theory 2.5 bottles each What do you think of this offer and does anyone the idea of the cost this package would be worth? The last time I looked, the 5 bottle wine package was $165 plus 15% gratuity.
cb at sea Posted August 26, 2013 #3 Share Posted August 26, 2013 If you plan on drinking wine, then it's certainly worth it. If you're not a wine drinker, then it will do you little good. Anyone can drink that wine....you may share however you like, unlike a mixed drink package or soda package, where you can't share.

happidaze Posted August 26, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted August 26, 2013 So it's quite a good wine in this package you think? Yes and the price for the cruise I'm going to book is less than the brochure price. Has the brochure price already got the gratuities included do you know? Has the brochure price already got the gratuities included do you know? I find the wines in the new wine package enjoyable. The brochure price here in the US does not include gratuities, not sure about elsewhere. Gratuities run $12 per person per day in anything less than a Grand Suite. The GS or better amount is $14.25 per person per day.
Danem7683 Posted August 27, 2013 #7 Share Posted August 27, 2013 When we booked for Indy next year we were offered the free wine which we took but not soda package which is silly as I don't drink alcohol! Should I take this up with my travel agent, also any links to where it says this online. Thanks. X Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
happidaze Posted August 27, 2013 Author #8 Share Posted August 27, 2013 I'd go back into your travel agent and ask them to call and amend, this will show up on your sea pass if you take a package when you board the ship http://www.royalcaribbean.co.uk/cruise-deals/ Look at the "drinks on us" and terms and conditions
