pe4all Posted February 10, 2014 #26 Share Posted February 10, 2014 Is Vibe worth it for a February cruise out of NY? Not sure what the weather will be like on the at sea days and I plan to go off the ship when in port. Thanks! This is up to you. You will definitely lose at least one day down and one day up due to cold weather in Feb. (maybe a day and a half) If you don't want the expense of Vibe, there were plenty of lounges in the area right next to Vibe - they were always empty! Not many people seemed to know of that area. In fact, if you don't have to be near the pools, there are plenty of lounges to be found in many other areas on the decks above the pools. I am not so sure I would spend the money on Vibe coming from NY in the winter, and going off the ship on port days.

Maybe I will just check out one of the other adult only areas. I don't really care for the pool...just the sun if it is warm enough.

Have a great cruise!
wichitastatecruiser Posted February 10, 2014 #29 Share Posted February 10, 2014 Hello, I'm a single traveler sailing the Getaway in October. Was curious if I got a cabana as a single traveler if they would allow me to bring in a guest of my choice since I am paying for 2 people. Might use that to pick up some single ladies... ;)
rmmom1962 Posted May 21, 2016 #30 Share Posted May 21, 2016 Curious about the 100 obc...if you have the UBP what do you use it for? You can use it to pay for your on board tips.
autojef01 Posted May 21, 2016 #31 Share Posted May 21, 2016 In my opinion if your taking a 7 day cruise in march its not worth it.Unless you get unusually warm weather, you have two days going and one day coming back that its not warm enough to enjoy! Then you have to worry it doesn't rain any of the other days.Keep in mind you will be getting off the ship also a day or two!
