We booked My Family Time Dining for our upcoming cruise on the Grandeur. I know how it works, but was curious as the best time to go to the MDR. I thought I requested 6:30pm time, but they scheduled us for 5:30pm. Is that too early? I am not sure what time the AO staff will come down to pick up the kids. Any advice? Thanks.

My Family Time Dining is part of main seating in the dining room so it is at 5:30pm. It is not part of my time dining where you can pick a time that you want. You basically have chosen the main seating time and the Adventure Ocean staff will come pick up your child at a designated time. They will serve you child their meal at a quicker pace so they will be ready to go. I think they pick them up at 6:30 but you will find out when you register for Adventure Ocean on board the ship.

I would imagine that you would request this via your travel agent. I requested it when I booked my trip, but I booked directly with RCI. I am not sure if there is a way to request this online or not. Also, just because you sign up for it, it does not mean that your child has to participate each night. I think you make arrangements with AO staff as to which night you want your child picked up.
