Ft. Lauderdale shuttle/taxis

Trying to get information on a shuttle service from Holiday Inn Express on W State Rd 84 to Port Everglades. There are 7 of us. Can anyone recommend an inexpensive shuttle. Do the taxis charge per person or a flat rate. Several going are working on a tight budget

I would do taxis. You can get by with two and that should be more economical than the shuttle.

I agree for sure to just use cabs. Shuttles will charge per person, cabs a flat rate.

and how many can ride in taxis with luggage, one suit case a person.

I don't know if this is helpful but we just booked a Go Shuttle to pick us up at our hotel in Ft Lauderdale to take us to the Airport for a flat $80 charge and we have the van all to ourselves.

I don't know the price of a cab so you may want to look into that but if you want to keep everyone together (which we do cause my inlaws get lost easily:eek:) this may be an option for you.
