Yellow Fever shot for Iguazu Falls?

We will be travelling to Iguazu Falls in December prior to our cruise that travels from Rio to Buenos Aires. We are staying at the Sheraton.

Is a yellow fever vaccination required?

Required?

A certain country may require to see your vaccination booklet if you are entering from a country where they consider there to be an outbreak. Check with the consulate/embassy of the country you intend to enter.

The cruise line may require you to have a vaccination to help them assure such a country about all their passengers. Check with the cruise line.

You may wish to protect yourself in an area known to have an outbreak. This is not a requirement. Check with a knowledgable travel medicine professional.

Iguazu Falls is in the area where Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina meet. We're also going in December. I plan to get a yellow fever shot.
