B2B Question

Princess will link your B2B cruises even if you book them separately. They have your Captain's Circle number and your passport number to match them.

For US ports, Princess has to link the cruises for reporting to US immigration and to make sure they don't violate the Passenger Vessel Services Act of 1886 (PVSA). For example, if you separately book a cruise from Seattle to Vancouver and a succeeding cruise from Vancouver to LA, that is illegal and they will cancel as soon as they discover the match.

You give them the first boarding pass when you board for the first cruise. They will not ask for another boarding pass for the subsequent B2B cruises.

Thank you; that's the answer I was looking for - nice and clear and to the point. :D

All 4 segments were linked at booking and we're leaving/returning from Los Angeles on all segments.

 We are doing a back to back on the Royal in December.. Our first:D... How does that work..? Do we need to find the cabin attendant at our new cabin and ask what time we can move.. Are there any carts we can use to move our things, or do we have to pack everything and then unpack... Also what time is this usually done... I know that we have to get out of our first room early, and wondered what we would do with our things, while waiting for the 2nd room..

Thanks for your help.... it is not a big deal, as we have all week, but just wondering..

Don't worry, they will provide a note that will advise you as to what you need to do. :D

You would normally pack everything up, leave your bags in the room and the stewards will move them to the new room.

I suggest you speak to the room steward/attendent and to save you packing everything up, they can move whatever is hanging in the closet for you and everything else in the bags to the new cabin.:D

Your cabin steward will advise you and will coordinate your move with your new cabin steward. We have changed cabins several times on B2B cruises and it is very easy. As MicCanberra suggested - they will definitely move your hanging clothes for you. Once they just exchanged the drawers too and we had very few things to pack up. They will use a cart like what you see in hotels and will take care of it if you want to go ashore on turn-around day. If there are lots of B2B passengers, they may offer a shore excursion.

They would prefer if passengers make them selves scarce for at least a few hours.:D
