Current foliage

Has anyone been up in Saguenay, Quebec City, Halifax who can report on if the leaves are changing yet?

it has started, but still lots of green left.

We just got off the Veendam Saturday, after the 14 day round trip from Boston. We drove to Saguenay on 9/13 and the leaves there were turning. While there was still some green about a third of the trees were changing color. Last week, in Charlottetown, Sydney and Halifax there were hints of color changes, but it will still be a week or so before it is really event. Since the temperatures are getting color, the process should be speeding up.

Well, there will be quite a bit more color on the trees this weekend and thru next week...but not quite a the peak yet...bonus is this weekend and thru the begining of next week will see some glorious warm & sunny fall weather !

 

Temps will rise to the mid 70's towards the end of the days.

They are just starting to turn in mainland Nova Scotia and will be better in a couple weeks.

Colors are changing quickly now...this week & next week they will pretty much be at thier peak here in Quebec...there are going to be several frosty nights in a row next week...which will hasten them falling off the branches...enjoy the show !
