Hoi an private tour

I did get a quote for our 2012 cruise from a private guide, but at the time Azamara was offering 50% off their shore excursions and the basic Hoi An (maybe Hoi An Your Way?) was less for just the two of us than the private option. However, based on what has been reported on another thread here, it seems that now you might pay about the same for a private guide and driver as for the Azamara excursion, and really "have it your way"...

My quote was from Mrs. Ha. I wish I had a link to send you, but can't recall it. We did use her guide in HCMC, and she was prompt and quite delightful.

I can say that while the AZ excursion was perfectly acceptable, we missed time that we would have very much enjoyed spending in Hoi An due to shopping stops along the way which we would not have chosen to make if on our own. Hope this helps...have a wonderful cruise!

We used Mrs. Ha for our Hoi An tour. You can see lots of photos from that tour on our website www.thepreismans.com. Hoi An was our favorite stop in Vietnam. A lovely town with the old Vietnam feel to it.

Hi,

We are in the process of booking private excursions in Halong Bay and Da Nang/Hoi An/My Son.

I just wanted your opinion on your tour company/guide that you used.

Anything thing you would do different in terms of your itinerary.

Also did you use same tour operator in Halong Bay (if you went there)?

Is this the company you used?

We are arriving at 8:00 AM and leaving at 7:00 PM the same day.

Can you provide your opinion on an itinerary that includes Cham Museum, Marble Mountain, Hoi An and My Son? That is, is the itinerary "too much"?

Thanks in advance.

I was very pleased with Mrs Ha's service. You can read my thoughts n each one in the review. You have the correct URL. Since I didn't go to the Cham museum, I can't tell you; but if you contact Mrs Ha, she will let you know.

Has anyone used a local guide for hoi an?

Best Cruises Travel (http://www.vietnamprivatetours.com) has come very highly recommended to us by friends who toured with them last year. We will be touring with them this December visiting Hanoi, Halong Bay (Half Day), Chan May Port for a visit to Hoi An, an ancient town, and overnight in Saigon. All transfers to and from the port are included. Our contact is Stephen.
