White room and East - Book before we go?

We want to try both restaurants but shall we book before we go? I did read that it can get booked up? Are we better to book for the first night and do they have nights with offers ie; free wine etc.

We are going for 2 weeks.

Never known free wine but East did use to have 1/2 price nights but Sindhu on Azura never did. East is now another Sindhu so may not do the deals now.

 

We book as soon as we get on board.

Wasnt sure if East was an Adul restaurant as no mention of him, only on the azura. People say ask for main dining menus and go on the night you like the menu the least but really want to try them so dont want to miss out.

When you board they have desks set up in the Atrium. You can book there. Never heard of any offers or free wine. On Celebrity the restaurants can be half price on the first night......come on P&O give us something.

 

Best to book speciality restaurants on non formal nights as the main dining room menu is upgraded for formal nights.

P&O did used to do discounts for early sittings on some evenings.

Thanks, we have booked the white room for the first sunday night as its starting to get booked up already, we will chance it for the East once we see whats going on. 2 weeks and counting.

How wierd is that? Just received an email from P&O telling me just that

On all ships the length of the cruise makes a big difference. On a short cruise you need to book as soon as possible. But on a long cruise it is not as important.

I have just booked both these restaurants for our cruise in November, so not sure where you got that info from.

One of the reasons for that was, when we were on the Azura a couple of years ago, we couldnt get into any of the speciality restaurants. Always telling us to wait on cancellations but that never happened.

 

So I would say, why wait till your onboard. :D

How bizarre. Ive booked and got confirmation emails for the dates and times I picked for both restaurants. :confused:

maybe this changes nearer to embarkation? as you sail 7 days before us as I pressume youre on ventura TA? :)
