White room and East - Book before we go?

When you board they have desks set up in the Atrium. You can book there. Never heard of any offers or free wine. On Celebrity the restaurants can be half price on the first night......come on P&O give us something.

Best to book speciality restaurants on non formal nights as the main dining room menu is upgraded for formal nights.

You can't book either before you board but as other posters have said book as soon as you board in the atrium

If you want an outside table in the White Room remember to request it when you book

Sometimes there are offers but never seen one that includes wine

You used to get a bottle of wine for a small charge when you booked the White Room as a gift package but that has been removed now

You can now book MPW and EAST. before you go. You book it through cruise personaliser under dinning.

There are some sample menu's on there too.

On all ships the length of the cruise makes a big difference. On a short cruise you need to book as soon as possible. But on a long cruise it is not as important.

I have just booked both these restaurants for our cruise in November, so not sure where you got that info from.

One of the reasons for that was, when we were on the Azura a couple of years ago, we couldnt get into any of the speciality restaurants. Always telling us to wait on cancellations but that never happened.

So I would say, why wait till your onboard. :D

Larakdy,

You used not to be able to book before you boarded, it seems according to an email that I've received that is not now the case. Even when you booked a gift package for the speciality restaurants you could not chose the date until you boarded. That was certainly the case up till this year

copied from cruise personaliser

Dining reservations must be made at least three days prior to cruise departure, and are available on cruises eight nights or more. Please note: Date and time of your reservation will be confirmed onboard.

so the date and time CANNOT be booked before boarding if this is true
