Are the gondolas safe?

I have seen the pics, just wondering they are safe? Super nervous, but def want to get those pictures of the view! We didn't do bobsledding in Jamaica for this very reason as the trip to the top of the mountain was too scary for DH and I. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Yes they are quite safe. We even took our 4 year old dd on them! The pics you get up there are totally worth it!

I'm guessing the fact that thousands ride them every year means they must be safe, but if you have an irrational fear that fact probably won't help much.

According to the new owner repair parts are enroute from Austria and it's scheduled to re-open Oct 27 along with PP. They just repainted the pylons.
