Rare Keith1010 Posted November 4, 2013 #10 Share Posted November 4, 2013 As you will learn on the Florida Board there are three options: Taxi at around $80.00 Private Car around the same Shuttle You can get specifics on that board as to companies. 98Charlie Posted November 4, 2013 #11 Share Posted November 4, 2013 QLS used them again to and from the breeze this weekend and there service is much better than SAS.What are their per person rates for FLL-POM? I checked the web site and couldn't find any shared ride option. I've never had any problem with SAS. Used them 5 or more times. Charlie
Colorado Kat Posted November 5, 2013 #12 Share Posted November 5, 2013 We've used SAS 8 times. Used to be fine, but they were horrible the last time. Picked us up late, and then the driver couldn't find other hotels to pick up more passengers. Drove in circles for over an hour. Got to POM very late. dispachcops Posted November 8, 2013 #13 Share Posted November 8, 2013 We usually rent a car one way (alamo is usually good) for around $50. It allows us the freedom of hitting a walmart or thrift store to get our last minute items... Sent from my MB855 using Forums mobile app
Allis154 Posted November 8, 2013 #14 Share Posted November 8, 2013 We usually rent a car...very easy drive to do either way. happy sails!
Steviewonder1 Posted November 9, 2013 #15 Share Posted November 9, 2013 What's wrong with flying into MIA instead of FLL? It is a straight shot from the airport via taxi or Limo to the cruise dock. Take 836 east to Biscayne Blvd to NE 6th St, Port Blvd to your ship.
Giffer Posted November 9, 2013 #16 Share Posted November 9, 2013 What's wrong with flying into MIA instead of FLL? It is a straight shot from the airport via taxi or Limo to the cruise dock. Take 836 east to Biscayne Blvd to NE 6th St, Port Blvd to your ship. We fly into FLL instead of MIA because we fly Southwest. My wife and I fly SWA for business and rack up the points. It has been years since we have paid to fly for a cruise. We have been using SAS for the past couple years and have been very satisfied with them. SW just bought Air-Tran and now serves Atlanta, but that is a few years too late for me.
dispachcops Posted November 9, 2013 #18 Share Posted November 9, 2013 It is cheaper flying into FLL or west palm beach and renting a car than flying into mia Sent from my MB855 using Forums mobile app
98Charlie Posted November 9, 2013 #19 Share Posted November 9, 2013 What's wrong with flying into MIA instead of FLL? It is a straight shot from the airport via taxi or Limo to the cruise dock. Take 836 east to Biscayne Blvd to NE 6th St, Port Blvd to your ship. As others have said...cost. Almost every time it is cheaper to fly from CHM or DAY to MIA vs. FLL.
