Need Ft Lauderdale Thanksgiving Restaurants

We will be coming in the day before our cruise, which happens to be Thanksgiving day. I wonder if anyone knows of a restaurant that will be open that day? We will be staying at the Marriott Courtyard-Plantation, which is next to the Broward Mall at I-595 and S University. We have no car available....

You should look for restaurants in Plantation if you don't have a car...Fort Lauderdale is too far away and will cost you a lot in cab fare. Maybe the restaurant in the Renaissance Hotel in Plantation has dinner. Hotel restaurants often offer Thanksgiving dinner.

Sheraton Suites in Plantation also has a restaurant, so maybe they are serving Thanksgiving dinner.

FYI, For those of you that will be spending Thanksgiving in a hotel in the Fort Lauderdale Area (Including myself), I would like to share a 2012 article listing the area restaurants open on Thanksgiving Day (There are a lot of restaurants that will not be open). Another good source at this point is http://www.opentable.com.

 

We are staying at Embassy Suites, they had a 2012 buffet from 12 to 9 PM for $27.95 pp. Grill 66 at the Hyatt will also be open.
