Day trip from Marseilles

We have a choice of 2 trips-Bonnieux, Lourmarin, Gordes and Rousillon (or maybe leave out one of those), or Aix, Cassis and La Cadiere. They both sound wonderful. Any suggestions?

If you haven't been there before, pick the second one - Aix, etc.

The only one I've been to is Aix, but my husband hasn't and he'll be with me this time. While I liked it, I find I prefer small, picturesque towns for their beauty/laid-backness. Does that change your suggestion?

I would do the first pick...I loved Gordes,and would go back in a heartbeat.Just saying...and you have been to Aix.
