Has anyone stayed at the Tremont Hotel in Galveston?

Is it worth the money? Looking at staying there before our Wedding and cruise.

We've stayed there a few times, mostly for Dickens on The Strand weekends. It's expensive but fun. Rooftop bar was pleasant. Many regular rooms have "Alley View" but I remember one had a great view and was large, I don't remember categories etc. Good place for a special occasion.

Had my Wedding at The Tremont on the Rooftop, really nice hotel!

It is not the "View" at the Tremont, but the rooms, which are lovely.

The corner suites are unbelievably spacious and beautiful.

A very classy hotel in the heart of downtown.

A great place to go for a respite during Dickens weekend.

Consider Rudy and Pacos Restaurant also and make reservations.

Rooms are amazing and staff is fantastic. Highly recommend. But I will say I have a price limit on 'amazing'.

With it being the night before the wedding I went ahead and booked the suite. It looks really nice and was able to get a discount.

Plus it will be March ,10 which is spring break so with it being more expensive maybe it won't be as rowdy as the other hotels.

Houston schools' Spring Break is the week of the 17th so no local day visitor crowds at your time.
