Rare LHT28 Posted October 26, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2013 Anyone used this company from the port to MIA? Any comments good or bad Yes I know I can get a taxi but need to pre book a pickup time any other drivers that have a good review Thanks Lyn
JohninDC Posted October 26, 2013 #2 Share Posted October 26, 2013 Never seen them mentioned on these boards? American shuttle has the franchise at MIA and you can get a quote/reservation on line with them. I do not understand why you need to pre-book a shuttle and cannot take a taxi  - lots of cabs waiting at the port and a flat rate fare of $24+tip even for larger SUV and mini-van cabs. Good luck! :)
zoncom Posted October 26, 2013 #3 Share Posted October 26, 2013 I have had prebooked shuttles NOT show up. Take a taxi. Up to 4 people-$25 to airport flat rate.

JohninDC Posted October 27, 2013 #6 Share Posted October 27, 2013 Just to clarifyWe have almost missed our flight waiting for Taxis Our flight was 12:30pm so not an early morning one DH said never again & I agree YMMD Every cruise out of Miami there have been a line of cabs waiting for passengers outside the bags/custom/immigration area - NEVER waited for a cab unless we needed a van cab because of the size of our group or the amount of luggage my wife insisted that she needed to bring. POM to MIA is a 15 minute ride -- if you have a 12:30 flight you will be there EARLY. Good luck! :)
