NAVIGATOR #9622 (Noise from above?)

I need a quick reply, please. Have any of you stayed in D1 #9622? From the deck plans, it looks like it is a cabin removed from the Presidential Suite & piano on Deck 10. Would the noise from above carry over to this stateroom?

Thanks very much. My friends are light sleepers, however, would like to be close to us on the hump.

No noise from above. We've been on deck nine hump over a dozen times. Enjoy!:)

I am not familiar with RCI but my cruise on the Carnival Victory was a

noisy event. Selected nice balcony cabins just under the Lido deck.

Now this would not be so bad if the cabins were under the carpeted

buffet but these were below the hardwood deck where folks were

moving chairs tables and what have you way late into the night.

No rest for the wicked. Got a consolation payment for the noise but

could not move to another cabin - ship was booked full.

So now when I book I make it a point to check where the cabins are

located under the Lido deck. Carpet Yes - Wood plank floor Horrors NO !

Also beware of kitchen prep areas where food service carts bump along

on tiled floors. The higher up the better the view but also the greater

possibility of being near noisy traffic areas so also beware of being under

the stage floor of a band playing pounding bass thumping on the roof of

you wonderful view cabin.

We also book staterooms that are sandwiched between two passenger decks. And, yes, we've also stayed in starboard humps on the Voyager class but never the port side directly under the presidential suite with the - of all things - a piano. Since #9622 is right on the fringe, I wondered if the piano was also a problem for that room. I think our friends will play it safe and stay right where they are unless a starboard hump open up. Thanks for the replies.
