Fitness Classes and dance classes on Marina

Does anyone know if the fitness classes are free on board?

And are there any dance classes - ballroom or salsa

We would also like to learn to play Bridge - is there any opportunity for this too?

There were some free fitness classes on Riviera last month but yoga and pilates, my preference, were an extra charge. I did not end up taking a class as they were scheduled mid afternoon, while we were still in port, and also because the yoga offered was "gentle" which is not what I practice.

There are usually Bridges games on some of the cruises

some have beginners classes

It varies by the cruise

On some of the cruises there are ACBL (American Contract Bridge league) instructors. Usually those are sea day intensive cruises like a crossing or Panama Canal which they need to entertain you onboard.

All but yoga, pilates, and spin classes were free. On our recent 14-day Baltic cruise, the free classes included Walk a Mile and Morning Stretch every morning at 7 and 7:30. Other classes were offered on various days at 5 p.m. including Cardio Circuit, Core Conditioning, Abs Express, Energize Your Soles, and others. More classes on sea days.

 

There was a Bridge Director and Duplicate and Social Bridge was scheduled regularly. Bridge lessons were scheduled occasionally.

 

No dance classes.
