Booked for the New Years Eve cruise, out of Tampa. I have some general questions regarding the ship, as we haven't been on this ship before.

 

1. Do they have laundry rooms with irons on-board.

2. Does the Spa have a sauna or steam room, if so are they coed or separate.

3. We are not smokers, are there separate areas for smokers (casino, pool)

4. Are there any recommendations regarding specialty restaurants.

5. We have adjoining cabins on Deck 8. Can we fold back the balcony partitions, so as to share our two balconies?

Sorry, no RCI ships have laundry rooms

I will let someone else answer this as I don't usually use the spa.

There is still smoking in the casino, and designated spots around the pool.

 

4. Are there any recommendations regarding specialty restaurants.

We have not used these in awhile so I better let someone else answer this one, also.

The dividers do not fold back on the Radiance class ships.

3. We are not smokers, are there separate areas for smokers (casino, pool) Royal has made all balconies non-smoking as of Jan 1st. Smoking is still allowed in certain areas around the pool and in the casino.

4. Are there any recommendations regarding specialty restaurants.very subjective. Personally we think the food in the dining is every bit as good as any of the specialty restaurants

2. yes - both a sauna and a steam room...and no, they aren't co-ed. Showers are right outside both of them.

3. Just off Brilliance and I gotta say, least amount of smoking I've encountered on a ship since I cruised Carnival's Paradise eons ago. Casino is non-smoking on formal nights.

4. Had lunch at Giovanni's Table on one of the sea days. It was really good! ($15/pp)
