How long before Early Saver credit gets posted?

Last year I needed to cxl our early saver reservation. I'm aware of the process but never had to deal with it before. There was a $50pp admin cxl fee which left us with a balance to be held and applied to our next cruise as long as we were booked within 2 years and cruise within 3 years. I booked last week (well within the two year period) and called to have the balance from our cancelled cruise applied to our current balance. What a problem this has been!! I spoke to 4 different people before the 5th actually could even begin to help me. I was told everything from we were too late (which we obviously aren't) to if we weren't military they couldn't/wouldn't carry over the early saver balance. Finally I reached someone who knew what form needed to be filled out to make this happen. He took all our info, looked up both reservations and said he sent the form in to be approved. He took our phone number and our email address and said we were good to go and that once approved, we would receive confirmation. I was on the phone with him for over 45 minutes while this was all happening so wishful thinking was that things were pretty much taken care of........ It has been three days and I still haven't received a call or email and nothing has been posted to our account. For those who have been through this, how long does it usually take? I hate to keep calling and bothering them but I would like to get this taken care of.

I would call back. Monday I sent in ES for 2 bookings. One was approved later that day. (Amazing) and I have yet to hear anything on the other booking. Both are eligible for ES. The BF had a casino offer on his Carnival profile and I called and they granted ES right over the phone. As soon as I was off the phone, I checked the sailing and the credit had been applied. Please call back.

We never got confirmation that it was applied, and it did not show up on our invoice but our total was magically $400 less a few days later. Our PVP first said she could not find our credit, but it showed up a little later.

I am not sure if this works the same way but we were given a 20% off code to use for a future cruise due to being on a sailing during hurricane sandy last year. We had the same restrictions, book with in 2 years sail with in 3. I booked our cruise and tried to use the link provided but it wouldnt work so i called Carnival to have them apply it.

They did this on a saturday and it was posted on monday. I never received confirmation. I just happened to look at our pricing and it was there. HOWEVER they really did it strange. They dont show the 20% off. They show a reduced rate pp (not equal to 20% of what we paid) and then the taxes. The total then shows the difference not covered in the pp rate. Strange but the total is correct.
