Catmando loves to snorkel, so for Christmas two years ago I got him an underwater camera. Fish are kind of scared of humans, but they love to eat. When you take snorkeling excursions the folks who lead the excursion ususally bring food. Catmando didn't have any food at LSC, so he picked up some pebbles from the ocean floor and dropped them-and this guy showed up

When you get FTTF. you are also the first to disembark. Nobody wants to leave, but we had to drive home.:( We were called to the center MDR, they called Diamond, Platinum and then the FTTF. We were off the ship with our bags, and out of the port doors withing 5 minutes. We had a 10 minute wait to get the Holiday Inn Express shuttle, then back to the hotel-our "Formal Night" Halloween Contestent was on the shuttle with us, they cruise over Halloween every year, so if you want to meet the "cutest" fairy-he will be crusing next year, out of Miami to Aruba. I'm pretty sure he will be wearing some kind of "fairy suit":)

On the drive home we had some more of those tropical rain showers, but it was a cold front coming south. Another stop at Cracker Barrel, and we got home by 4:30. Threw everything in the washer, and then Catmando and I looked at each other and said that was the best cruise ever.

Thanks for posting the review. Every time I see a pic of the ship starting under the bridge, I want to cry. Because that's exactly where we were when my phone took a leap out of my hand, bounced on the deck, bounced again onto the side of my foot, and hurled itself through the rails and overboard. :(

LSC looks like my kind of place. That 5/6/14 sailing on Fantasy is calling me. Can you hear it? :p

I remember reading about your bouncing phone.:( I just looked at All4Fun's LSC pics, and told Catmando- look, we need to go back and walk down there- I need to find a HMC to LSC cruise-think of how little Carnival would have to pay in port docking taxes. Thanks for reading my review.

Random Thoughts and Pics.

Our steward took good care of us until the last night, no ice, and didn't see him at all on that last night, but we are easy to please. Some stewards recreate the towel animals, some just get new towels. We had a recreator, and none of our towel animals had eyes. Very sad. Blind towel animals.IMG_2781_zpsd9071f3d.jpg

For some reason I find that very disturbing.

I dont drink, but thought I would let you know the bars are well stocked.:D

The chair hogs were in full form. But they left these out early in the morning, and it began to rain, and then pour, and all I could do was smile.:)

We had rain, and we had sun, and that makes for rainbows

Hey, Ann; Loving your trip down "memory lane"! Our buds had the same steward as you. No Eyes! How wierd Is that? Sister Cindy made a game out of re-designing the critters with eyes and accesories. Cool! Since I was in my rolling anchor (wheelchair), I didn't get around near as much as I usually do. I had a Blast anyway! Honey-Bun is already planning for our next cruise! Be Blessed! Mikey<><

Honey Bun has the right frame of mind-my car took a dump yesterday-and I spent the day creating a wish list for 2015. So far we have decided, it has to have at least 7 days, we are leaning towards more sea days for rest and relaxation, and it has to have a port that we haven't been to. Also, it has to be affordable. I am sorry that we didn't meet. Maybe in the future!

On our final day at sea, our roll call was to do a putt putt tournament, problem was only three of us showed up.:( You know it's a great cruise when plans get changed, because you are more in the now, than the plan. All4Fun&Fun4All showed up, and Catmando and myself. Now here is where it gets weird, and kind of disappointing. The balls and putters are up by the golf course, but no pencils or paper to keep score. Where are they? On all previous cruises, the balls, putters, and score cards were picked up by the pool. but not on this cruise, so we had to keep track of our own score, and putting on a moving ship is a challenge. So if you plan on playing on this ship, bring our own score card. I won, but not by much:)

I am finally getting around to reading your review. Great job! I enjoyed our time playing putt putt and for once I didnt have to worry about Andrew gloating about his victory to anyone who would listen. LOL I found it odd that there were no scorecards either and I am amazed that I was able to do the math.

Thanks for reading. And thanks for the tour of your cabin, now we know what it will be like in January. Too bad we got cabin 9, smaller!!!!

I guess next time we should just check with the pool and towel guys, but you know, I dont remember seeing a table set up at all by the pool.

There was no need for towel police on this cruise that I saw.

All4fun-it was great meeting you!

willow and sid-thanks for the picture-i sent it to my co workers (the hallowen pic) i think a few thought Sid was real. LOL

That is too funny! I'm so sorry we didn't make it to putt putt - we actually did show up a bit early and no one was there, so we wandered to lido to get a drink and.... ooooooh shiny.... totally lost track of time. That's still on my "to do" list!

Mikey- glad we got to meet you and Barb - sorry we didn't meet up.

And now I already forgot the band name that was mentioned - was that the band in the casino area on elegant night? We really enjoyed them and had so much dancing there we never made it to the club!

Penguin - I had a smart a$$ comment about math skills and drill sergeants but seem to have forgotten that too - it's been a long week already!
