Booked NCL shore excursions...transportation?

We have booked our shore excursions for our upcoming NCL Western Caribbean Cruise. I'm trying to generate a list of which excursion I need to bring the RideSafer3 vest for our 3 year old. We are going to leave her car seat in our vehicle and use the RideSafer3 in ports. Is there a way to know if the transportation for the excursion is with a motorcoach or a multipassenger van?

 

Roatan: Maya Key

 

Belize: Altun Ha Ruins

 

Cozumel: Xcaret

You may want to ask this on the NCL boards, to talk to those who have actually taken those excursions. Generally, transport is a bus...

 

How difficult would it be to bring the vest....just in case it's needed?

It's not difficult at all which is why we bought it at 3lbs, I'll probably just stuff it in the under basket of her stroller. Just curious if I would need it or could just leave it in the room.

We went to Lamanai in Belize and the coach buses going to Altun Ha were right beside us. Our boys were 4&6.5 yrs on this cruise and I was quite comfortable having them ride on the coach.

I cannot comment on the others as we did different excursions.

Fwiw I did not find the NCL excursion people to be at all helpful with knowing details like the types of transportation used for their tours. I know there will e others on this forum who will give you great information :)

Maya Key is a private island that is right in front of the ship. You get on a boat and it takes you over to the island...maybe a 3 minute trip. You won't need to bring anything for that trip.
