Blue Lagoon from Nassau?

 Share

Recommended Posts

I can post this on the Bahamas forum too, but wondered if anyone here has done the RCI excursion to Blue Lagoon in Nassau?

We will be on the Enchantment and were looking at this excursion and found that it starts at 3 p.m. Isn't that a little late for a 4 hour excursion?

Thanks in advance for any info.

My family took this excursion a few years ago. We had a fabulous time. The boat ride there is about 45 min. The beach is beautiful. There are lots of water toys. We had an okay lunch. Our excursion began about 10 in the morning. I'd say 3 in the afternoon is rather late.

You can book this excursion directly with Blue Lagoon save a little money and get there early in the morning. Their boat will pick you up and drop you off right at the pier. Just google it.

Its a great place with something for everyone and even if you don't purchase the dolphin interaction you can watch from afar and still see pretty good plus you an go into the dolphin area and see them swimming in their pens. They interact pretty well with just the gawkers. Play grounds and activities for the kids both in and out of the water and lovely beach. Our trip out to this little island only took 20 minutes. Lunch was decent and the beach behind the dining area is very secluded and not many knew it was there.

Yes, you'd want to spend all day there

Just returned from the Allure and did the sea lion encounter at blue lagoon. I was concerned about the schedule since we were leaving port early. But Allure arranged to have the ferry return early to get all it's passengers back on ship. Would strongly suggest you use the ship excursion rather than a private trip since the ship will wait for you if you use their excursion. Did not use the "water toys" but there were a lot of them. You can also walk around and watch the dolphin encounters and the sea lions.

No reason to fear getting back to the ship on time. You may leave on any of these return trips. We took the first ferry at 8:30 and left at 2:00 right after lunch. Of course you must use your skills as a responsible adult to plan accordingly.

Our boats depart for Blue Lagoon Island at 8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Our boats depart from Blue Lagoon Island at: 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
