We are on the CB right now and at 07:15 pm Captains Welcome party will start in the Piazza, tonight is formal.

Yesterday in Houston embarkation was delayed due to fog. We went to the port at 12:00 and there was a long traffice jam, they had closed the street to the port and did send away most of the private cars. We were in a cab and were able to pass. Check in was quick, because there were not many people there. At that time people still were disembarking. There was less seating space in the terminal, so we were offered a free shuttle ride to Kemah to spend our time there. We were in the first group which boarded at 03:15 pm. Due to the late embarkation the ship did left after 08:00 pm. As they had to reschedule the muster drill from 03:30 to 07:00 pm the dining schedule was changed also. All dining rooms opened after the drill and there was open seatings in all rooms. People who wanted to eat earlier had to use the Horizont court. As a result of the delay Captain announced today that we will be in Cozumel at 10:30 am and not at 08:00 am. Some tours are cancelled due to this matter.

Pilot for Cozumel is on board, at 10:30 am we will be docked. The weather is better now, 29C-84F, sunny with clouds, in the afternoon we will get some showers. We will leave at 06:00 pm and cant stay longer, because the ship needs to go full speed to our next port of call Roaton.

Food on board was good so far.

Unfortunately fog has reared its ugly head again in the Houston area. It seems a bit early this year. Our temps have been crazy - 85 yesterday. Today the Triumph did not dock in Galveston until after 1pm, so they had a delayed embarkation. Hopefully, when we sail in December a good cold wind will have blown in and blown all this fog away.

Yesterday we spend a wonderful day on Cozumel, the weather was perfect and the water clear and warm. We saw a lot of colorful fishes.

Some people were unhappy, because all tours to the mainland (like Tulum, Coba, X-caret, playa del carmen) were cancelled due to our late arrival.

In the evening in the Princess Theater were shown Cash and Friends and there was the Country and western Hoe down in the Club Fusion. MUTS did show NFL football and they did set up a small buffet at the pool for people who watched.

In the Horizont Court they served the Bavarian Festival buffet with Sauerkraut,Bratwurst, Bretzel, a whole suckling pig, knuckle of pork, spaetzle, leberkaese and other goodies.

We are now heading towards Roatan and it seems again to become a wonderful day, the sea is flat and the sun is coming out. An other ship is following us but I can not identify - too far away.

We just got a knock at the door and roomservice showed up with coffee.
