Cable beach

We're heading to Nassau in a couple of weeks for the day on a cruise ship. We want to go to Cable Beach. What's the best way to get there? And how much does it cost to use hotel facilities?

Any input appreciated,

Years ago we stayed at Cable Beach and it's lovely. You will need to go by taxi...........sorry I don't know what the costs would be.

Yes, the Bahamas forum has lots of info. However, for a quick answer just want to say that we enjoy the Sheraton at Cable Beach- very nice hotel

with all beach amenities. Check out their website.

We took a van cab from the pier for $5 pp, then took the jitney bus back to the pier. Cabs are easy to get in Nassau, as it is a busy port.

We just went to the Sheraton also - $40 pp including lunch (which was a good deal, lunch for 2 was $33, but it cost us 20 for 20 because it's $10 more pp for the lunch option).

Great facilities and beautiful beach. We took the #10 jitney bus for $1.25 per person. Easy to do.
