092306 Posted November 27, 2013 #26 Share Posted November 27, 2013 Out of the 3 I've only sailed Glory and it was ok, standard Carnival. Granted that was before the 2.0 upgrades so perhaps it's vastly improved. Despite some negative reviews, Royal looks amazing! I would choose that one for sure. gracie65 Posted December 7, 2013 #30 Share Posted December 7, 2013 I'm a pretty die hard Carnival fan but over the last few years we have also branched over to Princess. We were just off The Royal princess on 11/24 and hands down it had the best food of any ship I have sailed on. She is also the most elegant. I would suggest your checking out this thread: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?p=40893950#post40893950 Not to miss are The Crown Grill and The Wine Maker's Dinner which would be great dinner suggestions for the actual birthday. Our cabin was a mini L227. Loved the location. Also loved that there was a Deluxe Balcony L229 and a regular balcony L231 all in a row. We opened the dividers and that really eliminated the small balcony complaint. Just don't get aft that seems to be where the soot issues and in and out wifi. If you are active past 10PM this is also a great location by the forward elevators. Have fun on whichever one you choose!!
