Mira28 Posted November 27, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 27, 2013 (edited) Can anyone give me an idea what it's like on the ship this time of year? I assume you can't use the pool or spend much time outside. Is the sea rough? I am thinking about taking my first cruise and am interested in the Splendor. Would it be fun on the ship? I'd so much rather go from NY since I live close to NYC. The thought of flying (and the cost) is daunting. Rare Keith1010 Posted November 27, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 27, 2013 First day will be cool but it will get warmer on each succeeding day. Keith
Sherlock43031 Posted November 28, 2013 #3 Share Posted November 28, 2013 remember a cold day at the beach is better then a warm day at work.
Lerin Posted November 28, 2013 #4 Share Posted November 28, 2013 What exactly do you mean by this time of year? Today, next month? March?
cruiserking Posted November 28, 2013 #5 Share Posted November 28, 2013 What exactly do you mean by this time of year? Today, next month? March? It's winter, November/December low 30's in New York City and much colder on the ocean. Usually you experience a cold day at sea and the following day by late afternoon you feel the weather shift to balmier breezes. I haven't sailed Carnival but, many people do for their first cruises. You should read some of the reviews and post on the Carnival boards here at Cruise Critic. Jonathan
