Dcoy Posted November 28, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 28, 2013 So how crowded will it be with 5 ships, 14,500 people in port on one day? This next April 14th. Don
micmacmissy Posted November 29, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 29, 2013 We've been there with 3 ships in port and it hasn't been too bad. I suggest if there is something you'd like to do (specifally stingrays) that you book ahead, and book with a private company that will take you there early. We made the mistake of booking with a company that took people from other cruise ships...we had to wait 45 minutes for them to dock and tender over before we could leave. Micmacmissy Thanks for the reply. I have booked a ship tour which is only a few hours but afterwards it could be crowed just looking around at the shops. Rare Keith1010 Posted December 1, 2013 #4 Share Posted December 1, 2013 If you get off early the town won't be crowded but by late morning it will be quite crowded. At the same time this is not unusual. We have been there several times with five ships in port. Keith
Colorado Kat Posted December 2, 2013 #5 Share Posted December 2, 2013 Cayman is a pretty good sized island. Crowds spread out and it really isn't too bad.
sunsetbeachgal Posted December 3, 2013 #6 Share Posted December 3, 2013 And each ship has its own separate tender line...
