Lets see if the ship has 3000 + passengers statistically there should be over 300 "Friends of Dorothy".. Very surprised we three appear to be the only ones on this cruise...

This is some where around my 10 Transatlantic cruise and Trans Atlantic cruises usually attract a large group. On my last RCCl Trans Atlantic there were 30 of us meeting nightly for happy hour in the crown room..

Same on the Navigator last November. Nobody posted but over 20 showed up for drinks every night and a jolly group they were.

Good to hear from you and we look forward to nice evenings and making new friends.

Hi Dennis, so looking forward to meeting you & David and your friend David. Unfortunately we don't dare start happy hour until at least 7, otherwise the night disappears in the mist :D But we must arrange to meet up and socialise as soon as possible.

Hi Dennis,

Dont you worry. Once on board you will find the gays are coming out of the woodwork! I've been on a couple of the TAs at RCCL and even if the forum was quiet and we were at the FOD mingle every day, at the end of a 14 day cruise we STILL saw new people at disembarkation!

Once on board, make a beeline for the message board and see if someone made it before you, or create the note yourself. My favorite meeting place for pre dinner drinks is the champagne bar.. (wink wink)

We will certainly be there! See you on board!

Totally agree about them coming out of the woodwork so to speak :D

See you on board. Safe travels to Miami. We leave Manchester on the 18th, overnight at Heathrow and then fly with AA57 departing at 09:45 on the 19th.

Hi

My name is Lonnie. My spouse Haydn and I were supposed to be on this cruise. However Haydn s green card still hasn't shown up so it might just be me onboard. Haydn may have to fly over when it arrives

Looking forward to meeting you all

Posted awhile back. Glad to see others on board (there will be many - few post) On the last cruise on Navigator there were enough for us to have qualified for our own Meet & Mingle ...hmmm... Anyway, I'm Rick, retired Social Worker now Bar Owner, travelling with Joseph, a banker and Neil semiretired undertaker (BAS anyone?) all from Toronto. Neil and I do TAs whenever we get the chance. Joseph is a newbe. We look forward to meeting you all. Usually found at the Champagne bar after 7ish.

Yeah, Haydn's green card was approved and he got an emergency stamp put in his passport so he can come on the cruise!

Hello,

I see you are posting from on board.

What's the wifi / internet like as that on the Indy was positively funereal until last year's refurb?
