Majesty Promenade Deck Question

We are going on a Majesty - Boston to Bermuda cruise in August. Our cabins will be on the Promenade deck (703, 705). Has anyone stayed on this deck and , if so, is it noisy (joggers, etc)? And is there a decent view from the picture windows or do you just get a great view of the Promenade Deck? Any info would be appreciated.

From what I have read elsewhere, you'll have a great view of the sea, and not so much the promenade deck, and you won't hear a thing..... I'll know for sure next week as I sail away to Bermuda on the Majesty......

I was on the promenade deck last year, in 715 forward. The ocean views were unobstructed, and we did not hear any noise from joggers. In fact we jogged too.

 

Next week we'll be on deck four, but we'll be out there jogging.

For LTC...

We sailed with my in-laws last year on the Majesty...they had one of the handicapped accessible cabins on Promenade Deck. Their view out the window was great and they had no complaints about any noise either inside or outside their cabin...and they were right next to the elevator!

 

One word of warning...the people strolling or jogging on Promenade Deck CAN SEE into the windows of the cabins on that deck. The windows are tinted on the outside, so this isn't a real bad problem during the daylight hours, but night time is another story with your cabin lights on! So be sure to draw your curtains at night...otherwise you may have some "peeping toms"!
