The weather people claim that we only got an inch of snow -- I don't know -- but looking at my sun dial, it looks more than an inch (with ice under it)

And a local stopped by for a few seeds this morning

That looks like where I am. The roads are covered over a week after a snow/ice storm.

First snow of the season...taken all within 500 yard of my house in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia....

Starting to make a photobook of our cruise in November and caught this take off at Maho Beach on St. Maarten. Kicking myself it was just on a general setting - usually my camera is great at stopping action. Oh well. Still cool. :)

Every 3 days we have an ice/snow/sleet event.

And yesterday morning it was only 10 when we got up -- with a wind chill of -15. It only made it to 22.
