She's an amazing ship-builder; sure wouldn't want to up against her in a contest onboard!

 

We went up against her Halraiserdam in 2009 - and pulled the upset and won! Actually, everyone was in awe of her creation - awesome build and HUGE too - that one needed a handcart and 2-3 people to get it in the pool...no question it was a much more elaborate and amazing build than anyone else's ship. We had women's thongs on our pirate ship (Piratedam), cannons, and lots of high rigging and sails, and we all said 'Arrrr' a lot...so I think that's how we eeked it out. ;) After the contest we were challenged by Cruisinetta's team to put our boats in the pool for a seaworthiness test - both floated pretty well, but we didn't have enough keel and fell over in the waves - so she won the float test! And clearly the detail and construction/design goes heavily in her favor.

 

Excellent work, and the smaller scale for this one is great - more manageable for the steward and still captures all the details. Keep on building those!

She seems to have a wonderful time building her models and that's outstanding. Cruising is all about having fun 'your way'.
