Shuttle or Taxi to San Pedro

We are a family of 4 arriving at LAX on Dec 19, after reading through all the different posts it doesn't seem like we would save anything by taking a shuttle verses a taxi. We arrive at 10:30PM so I don't think traffic will be an issue. Am I correct in thinking the taxi will be easier? Thanks

Taxi is the easiest and most direct. You'll save a bit but not much in a shuttle. At that hour I do not think you'd want a 'tour' of the east side. Though at that time of night you might run into some CalTrans work on the freeway.

Taxi fare should run in the $70-$80 range.

taxifarefinder.com is a good resource. In our expereince it has always been on the high side.
