USAirways has a fare guarantee now. If you go to their website there is a huge "icon" at the upper right hand corner...they tout the fact that they will match their own low fare. The other thread was about Delta and they're now ready for bankruptcy...while USAir is coming out w/America West!! Good luck..... ;)

That's the icon I used to send an email. There was a form to fill out. I still have not heard back from them and today, the fare has gone up to $20 below the original fare paid. :mad:

 

In my email, I did copy and paste the lower fare with dates, etc., along with the ticket numbers and dates of flights. The only problem with those forms, is that a sender does not have a copy of proof that the form was sent.

 

What should I do know that the fare has gone back up?

 

Correction: That was not the form I used. That guarantee is only good if you found a lower price "the same day that you purchased your original ticket." I found the lower price over a week later.

I used another form for refunds.
