Taxi from Southampton airport

Doe anyone know the approximate price of a taxi from Southampton airport to the cruise terminal. Thank you

It is about 5 miles and 15 minutes. Fare should be between £15 and £20 depending on luggage etc. I would advise pre booking with a local firm like http://www.southamptontaxis.net/. There are many others you can search for and get quotes from.

There are taxis ranked at the airport, & the metered rate is around £20.

You can save a little by pre-booking a taxi transfer, http://www.westquaycars.com is another operator you can try, but the saving will only be about £5.

 

Don't rely on Bob's "15 minutes" if planning to go from ship to airport at commuter time, but heading into town in the afternoon should be no problem.

You are right about the timing of course JB, although the OP is transferring from the airport..

 

I do like to be met by a driver with my name on a board though.
