Share an interesting Cruise Story with Everyone

On our last two cruises Oasis and Allure we asked to be at a large table at the MDR for dinner. My wife and I along with our 22 DS like to meet other people that way. This being our 12th and 13th cruise we generally do not keep in touch with our tablemates after the cruise. Turns out these two cruises we met two families from the UK who were one of the nicest families we even met on or off the ship. Now we intend to visit both of them in 2015 in England. Facebook does a great job of keeping you in touch with people around the world.

I firmly agree, dinner in the dining room is a wonderful way to meet other cruisers. You had a 'extra benefit' by being tablemates with such wonderful people who you would want to visit on 'their home turf'.....enjoy!

 

DH and I often cruise by ourselves and always request to be sat a large table in the MDR for the same reason. If I wanted to have dinner with my DH, I could have stayed home...we do it often enough!
