Beach shade and amenities

We are in our 70s and just want to relax for a couple of hours on the beach. We will be on Carnival Liberty with only 1 other ship, (800 people capacity). My husband cannot get down and sit on the sand. Are there enough lounge chairs available? Can you rent umbrellas or are there trees for shade? Is it like the private island where all the chairs are set up and available?
