Hi- I am aboard the Zuidy and watch the entire endeavor. We were out walking on the Promanade deck when all of the action went down. The fishing boat broke a fuel line and the USCG asked the Zuidy to provide leeward support while they helped to fix it. The fishing boat suffered minor damage when it hit the Z'dam. The fishermen refused to abandon ship as it is their home. It was very tippy and top heavy as they had hundreds of used mattresses aboard. The Z'dam provided food and water to the crew of the fishing boat as well.

HAL used to do burials at sea but not sure if still available. Any one know if they still do these??

We were on the Nieuw Amsterdam in February 2012 and scattered a friend's ashes from the ship; HAL was great in arranging it.
