Snorkeling at Lobsters Alive?

Hubby & I will be in Barbados (NCL Sun) on March 12th. We plan to go to the Lobsters Alive beach and enjoy a lobster lunch.

 

I need to know if there is any reason to take my snorkeling equipment with me to the beach. As much as I'd love to, hubby freaks out if I swim out too far, so I'm talking about snorkeling close to the shore.

 

Just don't want to lug it with me if there's no reason to.

There's not a lot to be seen there, to be honest.

 

 

Save your snorkelling efforts for other islands

with less human impact on the shallow water environment.

I had a feeling this would be the case. We have snorkeling planned for Curacao & St. Thomas, so I'll be fine (may have to blindfold the hubby!) I'll just enjoy the view and the lobster the day we're in Barbados!

What you might do

is catch one of those boat rides that'll take you out to the turtles and shipwrecks, nearby

to do some snorkelling out there where there's something to see/do.
